The high priest doesn't know your name Human remains are reproduced the same We bend our limbs to serve the bureaucracy Our minds thread through the code of the machine And terrorize my dreams Data slaves, we do not want to be free We search through time and space for connectivity Carbonise, curate trans-inhumanity And lose all sense of that which connects you and me The Singularity We don't distinguish work from play We rate performance on info exchange High wire stunts garner acclaim, form influence Separate parts to transcend sentience Monster intelligence

She was a lonely high school girl, gone missing She led a secret life You know that story needs telling - we're salivating! She's no commodity, no She's an individual So sad to end up as a photo on a tv channel How did that girl go missing now How did that girl go missing? How did that girl go missing now You know the story needs telling To keep selling It was a sunny day, the birds were singing Such casual cruelty in this bland obituary writing Her mama waited up for hours for her to get home Her daddy pacing the floor pounding the cops on the telephone Vultures at the door with cameras and microphones But someone's not coming home

This is the decline of Middle Europe The matinee has become a freak show And I don't wanna have to change But that's a chance we have to take There's so little that we know And there's so much at stake All I want to know Is will you come or go? Time goes fast but moves so slow Take my hand Tomorrow - another land! I don't wanna stay here, I just want to go I don't wanna stay here I just want to go with you I wanna go with you This is the decline of Middle Europe The Empire has one last exile to force There's a fire in your eyes From the furnace below I think of all I say I think of all I know But all I really want to know Is will you go?!

Trauma Team 03:20
Jesus knows that sometimes marks don't show But night school taught me everything I know Like code red triage decisions can gain Precious moments for a soul to save Don't talk to me of cleanliness and order before God There's blood all on my hands and frantic movements in the crush My Faith's utility and I work down on my knees Just keep your peace You don't want to have to meet the trauma team Lean on me Is the only sentiment I care to preach Breathe in deep And be thankful that your head and heart don't bleed As the day breaks I pray to fall asleep Stop those death blue sirens calling me Good folk I was taught are heaven sent But I have slouched way beyond Bethlehem my friends My family atrophied and are gone The void expands and my work is never done So lean on me Sometimes I dream of diving down into the fitful deeps To resurface the bodies that the earth had sought to keep Return them to their parents so to lay them down to sleep But I sink into disorienting blackness and can't breathe

Big futures we dreamt Fresh with new wet paint Generations passed through this home Sex like newborn rain Fleeting moments saved Rendered in our children's fragile frames You can tell me nothing lasts forever I'd tell you our memories are long I once thought this system was a just one This fucked up system went and proved me wrong Superforeclosure
7.
In the bleak mid winter rain I hear her voice inside my head Driving me insane Jenni are you near? I feel your omnipresent frequencies like needles in the air Measuring my fear But Jenni you can't understand despair In the cavernous store room I haul freight 10 hours a day Fixing orders to the tune Of Jenni in my ear Her dulcet monotone directs me to dismay at my career But I won't shed a tear Jenni is a voice that doesn't care When her lights go out I know she sleeps without a doubt And I know that tomorrow brings more of the same old noise This town's a rusted satellite Automated out of life I don't know a soul who feels they've got much of a choice We're on our own Jennifer Units on

Unreasonable man said If a foe's drowning to death Put a hose in his mouth Send him on down to the depths Don't get discouraged It's nature's way I am birthing angels I built a mountain And beckoned the heavens came Lay waste to fortune! Unreasonable man made A landscape from hell He looked out his window Said 'progress is beautiful' In teeming rows where oranges once fell There is carbon wasting I am unreasonable man, I am
9.
Grey Goo 02:40
Grey goo isn't true It's a febrile science fiction Invisible, divisible Self-replicate to annihilation We'll cry on Day 29 Why can't we live forever? We'll find a way to survive We're gonna live forever! Day of doom coming soon One bad actor can lead us to the surfeit Eat the earth, graphene's curse Plenty of room, the bottom's just beneath the surface
10.
Kill Chain 03:08
Eddie's in the kill chain He is gonna die tonight He smokes a cigarette in his last twilight Eddie is the enemy Living on borrowed time Took a snitch jacket, now pays the price Eddie wants to lie down With a girl he knew one hot July Something about her hair A bedhead beauty with no cares Died on her last drunken beach joyride Eddie thinks they might just reunite Eddie can't stop pacing Adrenaline keeps him high Can't keep a single thought straight in his mind Rubs his bullet scar Recalls how he fought for his life But Eddie can't remember what that felt like Eddie wants to lie down With a girl he knew one hot July Something about her hair That bedhead beauty's in the air Eddie senses movement in the light Hopes the gunman doesn't see him cry

about

Once there existed beings, a race, a species who truly belonged to this world. Then at some point they moved on, and we moved into their places. We go on trying to occupy those places, day after endless day. But we’ll always remain strangers here, all of us.
